Day for relaxing and visiting family in Sudbury. Not much here!
June 17
Had a nice breakfast at mom's house, packed up our stuff, and headed out to Sault Ste Marie with the canoe on top of mom's vehicle. Has a great campground visit thanks to our uncle Roger setting up a trailer for us. We had two great nights sleep because of that.
On the road to the Sault we had to stop and get a picture of the canoe with the big nickel in the background. Seeing as we are Sudbury boys this was a must. We continued with the drive and arrived at the campsite at 4pm. We decided to meet at Casey's for supper after a quick shower at the campground.
We survived our first thunder storm through the evening. Just two small leaks that we will seal with silicon tonight.
