Made it across the Northumberland Strait from Pictou this morning. Got a ride from our campground in Pictou to the ferry from Anders and Tammy - thanks guys! We are now in PEI waiting for our ride to Charlottetown. NFL ferry service was great, let us carry our canoe on!
A great example of how small the world is.....the first person to sign our canoe was John DeWitt, a bicyclist from Holland who was staying at the Pippy Park campground the same night we were there. Tammy and Anders, who we met last night and gave us the lift this morning, actually met John at another campground (Howley) in Newfoundland! Weird huh?
