Got a ride this morning from Lily, one of the volunteers with the ALS Society of PEI. Had a great trip into Charlottetown and met a CBC reporter along the way. He shot some video outside of an Irving station, then followed us to our campsite to tape us unloading the canoe and setting up the tent. Brian story ran in PEI on the six pm show, Compass.
Finally got to see ourselves on TV. Won't be doing that again anytime soon. lol.
Went out for diner with two of the ALS PEI volunteers, Lily and Cindy, and a friend of Lily's, Jennifer. Had a great time and a great meal.Thanks for your hospitality and the kind gifts.
We're now back at the campsite getting caught up on our social media. I know of at least one dedicated follower so I can't disappoint him.
Off to Moncton tomorrow.
