Beautiful St. John's

We arrived in fine form last night and the day looks to be shaping up to be a nice one, if a bit cool. Going to pick up the canoe today and put our 42Canoe decals on it so we're ready for a paddle in Quidi Vidi harbour tomorrow morning at 0900. Also need to buy life jackets and one paddle. Jeff brought on with him that's been signed by the students and teachers at the school where he teaches.

St. John's Bound

Heading for the beautiful St. John's, Newfoundland in a few short hours. Really looking forward to spending a few days there before we start the trip across Canada.

Leaving on a Jet Plane

Heading for Halifax to attend my daughter's  HS graduation. Then heading for St. John's, NL, where the 42Canoe will be christened in the waters of Quidi Vidi Harbour. This will kick off the 'Cross Canada with a Canoe ALS fundraiser. Really looking forward to this adventure. See you in the Maritimes.

Sudbury ALS Walk

We're going to help with the set-up for the Sudbury walk tonight and the walk takes place tomorrow morning. I think one of us will be flipping burgers for the after walk barbecue. Hope the weather is better than it's been for the last few days. More pictures or video to follow.
